GloPoWriMo: Day 6

It’s the sixth day of GloPoWriMo and today’s prompt was to write a poem that stretches your comfort zone with line breaks. That could be a poem with very long lines, or very short lines. Or a poem that blends the two. You might break to emphasize (or de-emphasize) sounds or rhymes, or to create a moment of hesitation in the middle of a thought.

I have written a poem which begins with short lines and ends with longer lines.  As I was going to an open mic poetry evening at Write Blend this evening, and the theme was the Sefton Coast, the poem is based around that.  I hope you enjoy it.
