Today is the second day of GloPoWriMo and, of course, Good Friday. I hope those of you who celebrate have had a lovely day and you are enjoying the start of the long weekend.
In other news, I’m really excited to let you all know that my short play Ghost Light will be performed as part of Liverpool Network Theatre Group’s Short but Sweet Zoom Edition on 14 May.
Today’s prompt was to write a poem inspired by Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken, writing a poem about my own road not taken – about a choice that has “made all the difference”, and what might have happened had I made a different choice.
Having recently read Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library, this is something I have actually thought about quite a lot recently. This is my poem, inspired both by the prompt and my thoughts after reading Haig’s novel. I hope you enjoy it.
