Beautiful - Published by Paragraph Planet on 22 May 2023

Beautiful Beautiful. Dark, hypnotic eyes. Glossy, pink lips. Their eyes followed her like rainbows chasing summer rain. She glances at the reflection and opens her pot of gold. Beautiful cold cream soaks into fluffy cotton wool. Beauty wiped away. Summer is a dream never realised. A memory that never happened. Her skin sallow. Her eyes exhausted. Her chapped lips hold her cigarette tightly. Her cotton wool sits in the bin. Drenched in a million colours. Beautiful.
