Happy World Poetry Day everyone.  Poetry unites us as human beings and today is a great day to be reminded of how wonderful poetry can be.  If you love reading, writing or listening to poetry today is a great opportunity to enjoy verse.  Even if you’re not usually a fan of poetry, take five minutes to have a look at the stuff being shared online today, as there’s bound to be something out there that will change your mind.

A single rose survives
Bright red against a barren landscape
The world is
Silent

A single bee flies
Bright yellow against a grey sky
The only sound
Anywhere

A single bee flies
Into a single a rose
Hope survives

There is nothing else
